My Beauty MVPs:

Here’s a list of my current MVPs (most valuable products), with some tips & details.  Hope you enjoy!

The most important thing to consider when choosing makeup is your skin type.  I grew up with oily skin, but as I’ve gotten older, I’d say it’s more combination, which means I tend to get an oily t-zone throughout the day, but I also have annoying dry patches.  So, finding the right foundation, concealer, and powder are almost impossible.  The Tarte foundation below is the most full coverage foundation I’ve ever used, but I am obsessed.  I always apply it with a damp beauty blender, which gives you a more dewy, even, and light application.

+ Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation
+ Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
+ Glossier Wowder: Light/Medium

+ NYX Baked Blush
+ Anastasia Sun Dipped Glow Kit

+ Anastasia Brow Definer Pencil
+ Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade
+ Anastasia Brow Gel
+ Glossier Boy Brow: Black

+ Glossier Generation G: Leo
+ Wet n’ Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain: Caffeine Fix

If I could go back in time, I’d start focusing all my energy and paychecks on skincare, from the age of 18 at least.  If your skin doesn’t look good, it won’t matter how much you spend on your foundation or concealer.

In the AM:
+ Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
+ Glossier Priming Moisturizer

In the PM:
+ YTTP Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Age Prevention Cleanser
+ Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum
+ Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil
+ Purlisse Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask & Exfoliant (1–2 times a week)

After growing up using Herbal Essences shampoo, I got crazy spoiled when I started dating my husband, who is an incredible hair stylist.  I hate to say it, but once you go Kérastase and Oribe, it’s hard to go back.  R&Co is the best cheaper alternative I’ve found.  But, after trying almost every “high-end” hairspray that exists, Tresemme is still the MVP.  It leaves you with the perfect amount of flexible control.  (I hate hairspray that leaves your hair feeling crispy, and I’m super sensitive to smells.)

Shampoos & Conditioners:
Kérastase Bain Chronologiste Shampoo + Conditioner
+ Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo
+ Oribe Intense Conditioner for Moisture & Control
+ R&Co Cactus Texturizing Shampoo
+ R&Co Atlantis Moisturizing Shampoo

Styling Products:
Kérastase Resistance Ciment Thermique
+ R&Co Dallas Thickening Spray
+ R&Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo
+ R&Co High Dive Moisture + Shine Creme
TRESemmé Tres Two Extra Hold Hairspray

I never, ever, ever leave the house without two things: (1) my Wet n’ Wild chapstick (see above) and (2) blotting sheets (below).

+ Sephora Herbal Rose Blotting Papers
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes

My #1 tip I’ll leave you with is to remove your makeup and wash your face EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT.  It makes a world of difference, I promise.

I LOVE Glossier products!! I’ve only tried the Milky Jelly Cleanser in a sample but I own the Boy Brow eyebrow gel in the brown shade and I’m OBSESSED. It’s such a unique texture of an eyebrow gel; I prefer eyebrow gels over powders and pencils, just with how my eyebrows are, and this one is my favorite! Even over my ABH eyebrow gel. And I’ve been dying to buy & try Drunk Elephant products. My skincare routine is a bit limited and very specific right now because I’m on Accutane but once I’m done, I can’t wait to get back into my usual routine and also try some new things. I’ll have to pick your brain during wine night! 💄💅🏻🧖🏼‍♀️
